Why I started DM Summers Consulting
After more than twenty years leading transformation inside large pharmaceutical organizations, I saw something clearly: leaders were carrying enormous responsibility, navigating complexity at every turn - yet too often supported by partners who hadn’t lived the realities they were trying to change.
I started DM Summers Consulting to offer something different.
I’ve been in the rooms where decisions shape the future. I’ve felt the pressure of ambiguity, the urgency of execution, and the responsibility of bringing people along in a way that creates real, lasting momentum. My mission is to help organizations cut through complexity, strengthen how they operate, and build cultures where people and strategy move forward together with purpose.

My career has been shaped inside global pharma — not observing from the outside, but leading transformation from within. I’ve partnered with teams across R&D, Commercial, Cyber Security, and Tech, helping them navigate high‑stakes change with clarity, steadiness, and a deep respect for the people doing the work.
Over the years, I became the person leaders called when the path ahead felt uncertain. I’m known for stepping into complexity, uncovering what’s really happening, and helping teams move forward with confidence and alignment. I’ve advised C‑suite and Board leaders, built global Centers of Excellence, and led enterprise programs that reached more than 140,000 employees worldwide.
