Why I started DM Summers Consulting
After more than twenty years leading transformation inside a complex global organization, I saw something clearly:
successful transformation requires more than a well-designed strategy or solution.
Leaders need to understand what is really happening in the organization, align around what needs to change, and build the conditions that allow change to take hold.
I started DM Summers Consulting to bring that experience to organizations navigating complex change.
I've been in the rooms where decisions shape the future. I've experienced the ambiguity, urgency and competing priorities that come with enterprise transformation - and the challenge of translating strategy into changes people can actually execute and sustain.
My work helps leaders diagnose the real problem, align around a practical path forward, and build the operating models, governance, capabilities and adoption required to make change stick.
The complexity I've navigated - highly regulated environments, global matrix organizations, large-scale transformation and competing stakeholder priorities - extends well beyond pharma and mirrors challenges leaders face across industries.

My career has been shaped inside global pharma - not observing from the outside, but leading transformation from within. I've partnered with leaders and teams across R&D, Commercial, Cyber Security and Tech to navigate complex, high-stakes change.
Over the years, I became the person leaders called when the path forward wasn't clear. I step into complexity, diagnose what's really happening, align leaders around what needs to change, and help organizations turn strategy into sustainable ways of working.
I've advised C-suite and Board leaders, built and led global Centers of Excellence, and led enterprise transformations reaching more than 140,000 employees worldwide.
